5th Annual Hermosa Beach Pride Celebration Set to Shine June 11–15! 🌈
HERMOSA BEACH, CA (May 29, 2025) — Pride is back and brighter than ever! The 5th Annual Hermosa Beach Pride Celebration returns June 11–15, 2025, and it's fun, bolder, and more unified than ever before. Presented by the 501(c)3 non-profit Hermosa Beach Pride, and sponsored by Baker, Burton & Lundy, Gammill Law, Curious, Gum Tree Shop & Cafe and Indivisible Arts, the now five-day celebration is a passionate call for visibility, solidarity, and joy—anchoring a variety of Pride-themed events across Hermosa and the South Bay.
“With LGBTQIA+ rights facing renewed challenges across the country, our celebration is more than a party, it's a declaration of presence, allyship, and pride,” says Millie Martinez Stordeur, President of Hermosa Beach Pride. “Our 5th annual milestone Pride isn’t a massive festival with street closures and large music stages, but rather a hyper-local and grassroots celebration of community that aims to create safe and welcoming spaces for our LGBTQIA+ folks right here in the South Bay,” continues Millie Martinez Stordeur. “As always, we’re showing up with strength, resilience, and love.”
Centered around numerous local businesses including Tower 12, The Studio, Saint Rocke, Artesia Bar, Gitana, North End Bar & Grill, Bolt, Gum Tree, and of course, the iconic Rainbow Pride Tower, the weekend promises an unforgettable mix of drag, music, wellness, art, and most importantly, community. From fierce drag shows to tranquil beach workouts, this year’s celebration includes something for everyone: families, allies, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community alike. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11
6:30 PM – Pride Run with Hermosa Run Club
Hermosa Pier – Meet up with the Hermosa Run Club group on Wednesday evening at HB Pier Plaza (by the surfer statue) and join the group as they do their weekly Pier-to-Pier Run at 6:30pm. Rainbow-filled and pride-themed gear encouraged!
THURSDAY, JUNE 12
8:00 PM - Pride Karaoke Night
Tower 12 – Drink specials and karaoke fun at Tower 12!
FRIDAY, JUNE 13
8:00 PM – 11:00 PM – Kick-Off Party (21+)
The Studio (636 Cypress Ave, Hermosa Beach) – Music, dancing, games and celebration.

SATURDAY, JUNE 14
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Mornin’ Meet Ups
Grab breakfast with friends and family before we gather up and march down the strand to join groups at the Pride Lifeguard Tower. Meet-ups happening at South and North ends of Hermosa Beach:South end: BOLT Hermosa Beach (190 Hermosa Ave, Hermosa Beach)
North end: Gitana Café (2600 Hermosa Ave, Hermosa Beach) and The North End Bar & Grill (2626 Hermosa Ave, Hermosa Beach)
12:30 PM – Strand Parade & Group Picture
13th Street Beach, Hermosa Beach – Meet at either BOLT, Gitana Cafe, or The North End Bar & Grill and strut down the Strand to the Pride Tower for the infamous group picture!1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Community Beach Day
Pride Tower (13th Street Beach, Hermosa Beach) – Games, music, & connection. All ages, all inclusive.Set up early (starting at 10am)
Volunteers will be on site to keep an eye on everything

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Color Me Proud: Pride Craft Event
Gum Tree (238 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach) – Art, allyship, and creativity.

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Beach Werkout – Surf ,Sun, Swim, Sand…. Join us at the beach near the Pride Tower for a fun-filled beach day and workout!
